PRIVATE PILOT TRAINING COURSE SYLLABUS

Your private pilot training consists of three main phases which have been outlined below.  At the end of each phase, you will be given a phase check to determine your skills to that point in your training.

Prior to your first solo flight (phase II), you will be required to obtain at least a third class medical certificate.  Your medical certificate can be obtained from any Aviation Medical Examiner.

Upon completion of training, you will be given a test by an FAA examiner that consists of two parts:

Part 1 is an oral examination to determine knowledge of aviation theory and FAA regulations;

Part 2 is a flight test that will determine your pilot skills

Our private pilot training course is designed to provide you with a fun, rewarding experience leading up to the awarding of your private pilot’s license.
